Ceres, California – February 4, 2026 – Don’s RV Center, a top-20 RV dealership in California, today announced that it has partnered with High Ground Conversions to distribute and service its breakthrough ambulance – RTR Ambulance – in Northern California. RTR Ambulance Sales – West operates as the specialty emergency vehicle division of Don’s RV Center, bringing focused sales and service expertise to California EMS providers.

RTR Ambulance Sales – West will demonstrate and support the breakthrough RTR Ambulance to EMS agencies, private ambulance providers, and government entities across Northern California. Standard features of RTR Ambulance include two military-grade HED displays with intuitive menus, precision-engineered wire harnesses, high-grade tubular steel welded construction, and durable proprietary KYDEX cabinet design. Optional advanced features include AiRMAX by SDG (FINALIST for EMS World “2025 Innovation Award”): an independent system delivering 40K BTU air conditioning and 70K BTU heat with the fastest cooling times (only 7 minutes to cool from 95 F to 80 F degrees vs 22-25 minutes for peers) and the most efficient repair times, including easy replacement of the brushless blower motor, for a Type II ambulance.
High Ground Conversions’ expansion into California follows its official certification compliance with the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services (CAAS) Ground Vehicle Standard, the legacy federal “Triple K” (KKK-A-1822) specification, and the Star of Life requirements.
